The Confluence: Art in Twisp celebrated 36 years of bringing art, artists, and community together in the Methow Valley and greater Okanogan County. Some of our proudest accomplishments in 2024 include:

‣ Curated 8 gallery exhibits and 8 Community Gallery exhibits, resulting in $107,000 that we put in the pockets of about 200 artists through the sales of their work.

‣ Showing the work of more than 450 artists from around the region.

‣ Partnering with Okanogan High School students, Methow Pride, FYRE, and LGBTQ+ young people to bring compelling new work to the Community Gallery.

‣ Hosting record attendance for the 11th Annual Trashion Show and the 21st Annual MV Home Tour.

‣ Hosting readings from the The Confluence Poets, music events in partnership with Cascadia Music, and dynamic and compelling panel discussions with cross-discipline groups of speakers, including scientists, cultural anthropologists, tribal members, and artists.

In 2023 The Confluence: Art in Twisp celebrated 35 years of art in the Methow Valley. Since its inception in 1988, The Confluence has stayed true to its core mission: to bring art, artists, and community together. 2023 was a banner year of experiencing, celebrating, and gathering in support of art in our community. We were thrilled to keep art alive and thriving in our community this year.

Here are some accomplishments from 2023:

‣ Curated 16 gallery exhibits, which resulted in putting $105k directly back in the pockets of artists through the sales of their work

‣ Saw the return of two beloved community events: The 10th Annual Trashion Show The 20th Annual Home Tour: ARTistry in Mazama

‣ Showed the work of more than 500 artists

‣ Hosted 22,000 visitors from all over the world

‣ Hosted readings from The Confluence Poets and open mic nights in partnership with Cascadia Music giving visual space to literary and performing arts

‣ Delivered engaging community events in partnership with other Twisp community arts organizations including Fall and Spring Art Walks

In 2022 The Confluence: Art in Twisp celebrated 34 years of art in the Methow Valley. We welcomed a new Executive Director, and with her, a new burst of energy towards continuing our mission to bring art, artists and community together forward another 34 years and beyond.

Here are some accomplishments from 2022:
