Gallery Shop Call for Artists

Let’s get excited about Spring-- those earthy smells, pastels and bright colors, things anew, and promised rebirth. We want your creations at the Confluence Gallery with art that inspires fresh new beginnings and warmth. Art that invites us to roam through the woods, saunter through the flowers, hike in the mountains and relax in our backyards while we marvel over the arrival of birds, plants and wildlife. Let’s transform the Confluence Gallery with a burst of spring!

We are looking for:

  • Original paintings, prints, and cards with a nod toward Spring.

  • Fiber arts with scarves, weavings, and textiles that pop and soothe.

  • Jewelry, accessories, and decor that are light and airy, sparkle like spring, and make you feel like dancing!

  • Pottery, ceramics, woodworking, leather, and metalwork.

  • Share your art that invites us to seek the sunshine and get outdoors, to stretch our bodies, and to

  • welcome a new energy and ideas.

Please email Mary at shop@confluencegallery.org with images and a description including size, medium, and price by March 18th. Accepted works will be due by March 27th.

Each piece must be:

  • Your own original work

  • Available for sale

  • Created in the last 3 years

  • Any size

  • Any medium

  • Any price point

  • Ready for hanging with appropriate hardware/wire secured to work. *Artwork without hanging hardware will not be accepted.*

  • If accepted, work shall be delivered to the Confluence Tuesdays-Fridays 10 am - 4 pm, or by mail. If these times are not possible, please contact Mary at shop@confluencegallery.org

Please Note: The Confluence has the right to refuse work, even after work is delivered to the gallery if it does not contribute to the direction, cohesiveness, or available space of the gift shop. We are looking for high-quality execution that contributes to the diversity and vision of the Gallery Shop program.

REQUIREMENTS

The Confluence is a non-profit gallery. All shipping arrangements and costs to and from the gallery of unsold works are each artist’s responsibility. See Shipping Procedures Form [PDF] for details.

The Confluence offers a commission structure of 60/40 to non‐members and 65/35 to member artists. Go to Become a Member and learn how your membership supports The Confluence programs.
